I shall address both topics in the order of the title. Firstly, music. Yesterday I got the new album Southern Hospitality, from Disciple ( a christian hard rock/metal band). To speak simply, it is unbelievably awesome. Good drums, fantastic guitars and great vocals. The only thing I would change is making the vocals just a wee bit louder.
Anyways, on to the second topic: "foul language". What do I have to say on the topic of four letter words? Simply this: the entire concept is childish and pathetic. A word cannot be bad in and of itself. These words were the common-everyday-use words until someone decided that they sounded too common. Then they became bad to say. I am of the belief that "foul language" is indeed something to be removed from society, but not by saying "oh, how terrible!". Instead, I believe we should simply not take offense when they are spoken. Then, perhaps the speakers will see that no one is getting stirred up and stop, or since no one cares, it will cease to be a problem.
I have no doubt that there are many errors of grammar in this post and I apologize. My only defense is that I got up only an hour ago and am not quite awake yet. I also thank you for reading my often silly little blog. I shall perhaps write another entry latter today, muses be willing, but if not, have a wonderful week-end.
